A Taste of Belonging began as a place to share recipes and the stories behind them — the why of a dish, not just the how. It's grown into something harder to categorize and more honest for it. These days you'll find recipes that still light me up, poems that arrived when I wasn't expecting them, reflections on navigating mid-life with curiosity and humor, stories about my dogs, and the occasional dispatch from the world I'm building with Happy Huey.

What holds it all together is the same thing that's held my work together for twenty years — a belief that the best things in life are worth savoring slowly, and that sharing them makes them better.
